Play Reading Group -

Did you know that we have a play reading group? Why not join and have fun reading the character parts in a casual atmosphere. We meet the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Paragraphs on Padre. No reservation necessary. See you there!

The Foundation

The El Paseo Arts Foundation serves the communities Lower Laguna Madre Area.

Our mission is to encourage, support and promote the arts for the benefit and education both of area residents and visitors. We produce or support a year-long schedule of events including community theater, concerts, performances, local fine arts shows, cultural events focusing on area history and educational events.

UTB/TSC's Guitar Program

"In Concert"

Sidebar Title

UTB/TSC's Guitar Program, under the direction of guitarist Michael Quantz, presents an evening of acoustic guitar music on February 23, 2010, at the SPI Convention Center. These outstanding musicians will entertain and deliight you.

The performance is a fundraiser for the university's Guitar Program and is sponsored by El Paseo.

Tickets are $20 per person and are available only at the door.

Concert time is 7:30 p.m.

Please help support these young, talented musicians. They represent the future for the arts.

American Wind Symphony Orchestra

The American Wind Symphony returns to the Laguna Madre Area for a concert on May 15, 2010. All those who experienced the joy of seeing them perform under the stars in the band shell on their ship remember what a thrilling musical event it is -- truly something special for the whole family. El Paseo needs your help with the special event. We need sponsors to house the musicians during the week the ship is in port, sponsors to help underwrite the performance, and volunteers to work on the numerous planning committees. It's great fun, a great honor and so rewarding to be part of the planning and coordination teams. If you're interested in becoming involved --in any way-- drop us a line at info@elpaseoarts.org.
