Don’t miss the magic of seeing the American Wind Symphony Orchestra under the ship’s band shell on Friday, May 21^st, at South Point Marina and then enjoy an encore performance in a special mini-concert sponsored by the Port Isabel Economic Development Corporation, Saturday, May 22^nd at 2:00 p.m., at the Garden in Lighthouse Square.  The hour long mini-concert will feature the talents of percussion and brass chamber groups.  The Garden setting with plants and fountains will provide a unique setting for the wonderful music performed by the orchestra’s gifted musicians.  Patrons will have an opportunity to meet the performers and hear them talk about their music and their instruments.  The afternoon also provides an opportunity to browse the lighthouse square shops for art, collectibles, and special gifts, or dine at one of the area restaurants.
