The Ballad of Gopher Gap brings twelve local performers to the stage for an old-fashioned melodrama.  Sigh for the heroine, cheer the hero, boo the villain.  Enjoy this family fun on August 11th at Louie's Backyard, Upper Deck stage.

ETA - 3, a NY-based, Julliard-trained classical trio will kick off El Paseo Arts Foundation's 2008-09 Showcase Series of events on November 18, 2008, at the SPI Convention Center.  ETA -3 is a trio comprised of piano, flute and clarinet.  The talented musicians will present a varied musical program using original arrangements for their unique instrument combination.

El Paseo's fouth annual holiday concert will feature five premiere performace groups from UTB/TSC to ring in the holiday season with joyful music.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2009, El Paseo Arts Foundation will host the The Valley Symphony Orchestra’s Principal String Quartet in Concert at the South Padre Island Convention Center. The intimate chamber music concert will include masterworks by Mozart, Turnina, Puccini and Piazzolla performed by four of virtuosos from the Valley’s premiere symphonic music organization.

ETA3 is a classical trio comprising American flutist- Emily Thomas, Japanese pianist- Tomoko Nakayama and Russian clarinetist- Alexey Gorokholinsky.

El Paseo Arts Foundation will hold auditions for Tim Kelly’s old fashioned melodrama The Ballad of Gopher Gap, on Monday, June 23, 2008, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., at Club Padre, 5800 Padre Boulevard on South Padre Island.  The play has great roles for 5 men and 6 women 18 – 80 years old.
